My Thoughts π
- Book 2 of the Windy City Series has given me some much-needed hope for this series, especially after hearing so many raving reviews about it.
- “Can I explain it to you?” (Ch . 25). With no context other than when you read the book and stumble across it, you’ll understand, but this is one of my favorite quotes from the book. Such a simple sentence, but the way it was asked, the vulnerability that followed… such swoon-worthy moment.
- Ryan, a true gentleman even during heated moments, a guy whose love language is all of the above for Indy, and someone whose heart has been closed off due to a really bad past relationship, has been a joy to read as a fictional character. I loved reading his character arc – how he treats Indy, how much he loves his twin Stevie and their little breakfast bonding moments.
