- The sole fact that this book is dual perspective already had me excited to read it!
- I love when an FMC is blunt and willing to speak her mind, especially when the MMC is domineering and likes having things a certain way.
- The microtrope ‘he fell first and hard’ is a personal favorite. I appreciate the art of a man worshipping the ground that his woman walks on
- Personally, the plot twist felt lacking, like something was missing. I will say it was brief and to the point, which is technically consistent with the MMC’s nature, but it left me wanting more from both characters.
- The sexual energy and tension were really high in this book, not complaining, but I definitely appreciated the layers to it and how the intimacy developed throughout the book, creating a moment for each level as they explored each other.
